On 22 and 23 March 2003 we guided a tour, organized by the National D-Day Museum of New Orleans, along the route of Task Force Baum. 30 veterans took part on that tour, among them were Bob Zawada, who was a Platoon Radio Operator in Company "A", 10th Armored Infantry Battalion and Abraham J. Baum - the Task Force Commander. The tour began on Saturday morning 22 March 2003 at Aschaffenburg and then we drove the route down to Hammelburg with a travel bus. Along the route we had several stops and explained the veterans what happened on 27 March 1945. On Sunday 23 March 2003 we visited the German Infantry School - former location of OFLAG XIII-B - and the Hammelburg Military Training Area.
